Title: Interpretation Support (Mandarin/Cantonese speakers)
Contract duration: 2 months + 12 months renewable contract

Full time office mode
5 days per week (Monday to Friday), regular Saturday and Sunday Off
Working hours: 9 PM to 6 AM / 10 PM to 7 AM
Salary range:
Basic salary: Based on the current salary and experience
Transportation allowance: RM 500 per month (pro-rated) based on the number of working days travelled
Night shift allowance: RM 25 per night *22 working days = RM 550
Sign on bonus: RM 1000 upon contract extension of 12 months
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Provides meaning-for-meaning interpreting.
-Follows interpreter protocols as per training, policies, and procedures.
-Follows all policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
-Attends all required training.

-Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese and English
-Skilled at communicating, both orally and in writing in Mandarin/Cantonese and English
-Basic understanding of linguistics and different cultures.
-Skilled in adjusting to rapidly changing circumstances
-Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to work independently and skilled at exercising initiative within the parameter of company policies and procedures.
-Skilled at keeping supervisors informed of problems or issues
-Exceptional commitment to confidentiality
-Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships
-Uses MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Edge (or other internet browser)
-Ability to operate competently common office equipment including, but not limited to computer, fax, copier, and telephone system.
