Job Responsibilities:Troubleshooting for outlets' systems, including microphones, PTZ cameras, and desktop PCs and laptops.
Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
Checking computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality and replace parts as required.
Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
Providing orientation and guidance to the staff on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
Providing staff with technology support, which includes troubleshooting operating systems, applications, and network issues, answering questions regarding application use, and the installation of software.
Performing system maintenance and updates as appropriate (mobile apps, standee, email/Outlook, computer security, POS system, etc.).
Identifying computer or network equipment shortages and placing orders.
Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
Ensuring security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Conducting daily backup operations.
Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Manager.
Job Requirements:Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree/equivalent in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology.
At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
Language(s): Mandarin. Literacy in English and Malay is an added advantage.
Proven hands-on track record and experience in Cloud, Microsoft Server technologies and M365 products, virtualization technology, storage management, backup & recovery solutions, Linux environment.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
