What you'll be doing in Fairview:Ensuring effective support to both staff and students by assisting in resolving all IT related issues and providing support during school events in a timely and reliable manner.
Monitor, configure and maintain server, system and network infrastructure, including Active Directory, email, routing/switching, firewall, load balancer equipment, and operating system for server.
Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all computer systems, printers, CCTV, photocopy and scan machines, fax machines, peripherals, and networks.
Perform installation, upgrading, and configuration of PCs, printers, Windows Server, network, and related services.
Manage and monitor IT inventory such as desktop, laptop, printer, toner, etc.
Perform regular OS security patches and antivirus upgrades regularly.
Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in systems administration, helpdesk support function, or network/technical support.
Experience in hardware support and troubleshooting.
Knowledgeable in PC and server/network (routing and switching)/server virtualization/Active Directory/SQL server.
Willing to learn, able to prioritize work tasks, and deal with multiple assignments with little supervision.
Positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, committed, and able to withstand pressure.
Willing to put in additional hours when needed.
Happy to be based in Wangsa Maju.
