Help Desk & IT Support (Information & Communication Technology)
Provide remote support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
Address and resolve issues related to POS systems remotely, including software glitches and connectivity problems.
Prepare and configure laptops for new employees, including software installations, system configurations, and ensuring devices meet company security standards.
Perform system upgrades, software installations, and routine maintenance on company systems, laptops, and desktops remotely.
Create, manage, and disable user accounts in Active Directory, email systems, and other business applications remotely.
Ensure proper access controls are in place, including password policies and multi-factor authentication.
Assist users with troubleshooting and support for essential business software, including office productivity tools, email, and specialized industry applications, all done remotely.
Assist with monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure, including troubleshooting network connectivity issues remotely.
Track the lifecycle of IT equipment and recommend replacements or upgrades as needed.
Ensure all systems comply with company security policies, including regular updates, patches, and antivirus management, all managed remotely.
Educate employees on security best practices and respond to potential security incidents remotely.
Provide remote training to employees on the use of IT systems and tools.
Develop and maintain user guides and documentation for common IT tasks.
Work closely with other departments remotely to understand their IT needs and provide timely support.
Communicate effectively with users remotely, providing updates on the status of their issues and ensuring they understand the steps taken to resolve them.
