Company OverviewIndofood (M) Food Industries Sdn Bhd was established in August 1997.
Its core business was trading, mainly in instant noodles, and it became the sole distributor of instant noodles for Malaysia under the brand names of Indofood, Indomie, Sarimi & Supermi produced by PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (ISM), which is registered in Indonesia.
The company has a distribution network that includes the whole of West Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of ISM.
In January 2007, the company decided to expand its operations in Malaysia by manufacturing its own instant noodles under the same brand names under license from ISM.
The factory is located at Lot 26, Jalan Tasek, Tasek Industrial Estate, 31400 Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.
Currently, the sales volume for the export market includes Brunei and Singapore with the brand 'Indofood Mie Goreng', while local brands include Indomie, Supermi, and Sarimi.
