Job Description & ResponsibilitiesAs the Japan Buying Program Lifecycle Operations (BPLO) Specialist, you will report to the APJC BPLO Director and be a part of APJC Commerce Lifecycle and Operations (CLO). In this role, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and point of contact for handling software deals in direct engagements with deal customers such as Software Sales Specialists, Account Managers, and Partners.
This role would require you to:Partner with operations managers and the software sales teams to report out to deal stakeholders for major achievements.
Engage with specialists to execute the successful delivery of assigned deals.
Partner with internal and external teams to ensure that the deal aligns with the offer, highlight deviations, and ensure deal stakeholders are aware of prerequisites.
Align/engage with other Deal Managers/Specialists to ensure consistency of operational practices, review standard processes, and close gaps.
Work closely with software sales teams.
Evaluate project results against success metrics and recommend or implement changes to improve productivity and end product.
Keep abreast of changes in Software Offers and their ordering processes.
Provide training to the Field sales, Software Sales, and Regional operations team on Offer T&C's and Deal Pre-requisites.
Skills:
Fluency in spoken and written Japanese AND English is a prerequisite.
Exceptional communication skills including rapport building and active listening.
Ability to handle difficult situations and diffuse customer conflict.
Quick learner with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Self-motivated with initiative and tenacity.
Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Computer literacy including familiarity with case management systems and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Qualifications & ExperienceFour to five years of proven work experience in deal and buying program management.
Proven track record of driving varied and complex services and business processes.
Experience working in dynamic change environments with diverse teams.
Experience working in remote, global teams.
