Supply Chain Leads, or contributes to, the design and execution of end-to-end supply chain solutions and strategy including planning, material information and financial flows, manufacturing and logistics. Leads or participates in multi-function supply chain projects with an emphasis on project planning, supply chain modeling/analysis and optimization of cost, service and inventory. Participates in the design, development and implementation of end-to-end supply chain designs, strategies, models, processes, business intelligence and tools to support business growth. Identifies gaps and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Works in conjunction with Information Technology partners to ensure system framework addresses business requirements. Implements, tests, troubleshoots and improves business systems to increase manufacturing quality, efficiency and volume. Logistics Responsible for all activities involved in the management of product movement within the supply chain; ensures delivery of the right product to the right place at the right time for the right price. Key logistics activities include: physical distribution, which includes the movement and storage of finished goods, supplies and spare parts from manufacturing plants to warehouses to customers (typically includes warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and localization); logistics network development/optimization, which includes network design, reverse logistics, modeling, duty elimination/reduction, order fulfillment cycle time management, cost analysis, system design; logistic services procurement, including contract management; supply chain management, postponement procurement, and order management. Designs and implements logistics strategies/ processes in the areas of transportation, trade compliance, customs, physical distribution and/ or supply chain management to support distribution of Keysight materials/products. Responsibilities may be at the site level, regional or global. May be responsible for logistics process design, support and ongoing improvement. May be responsible for program management, such as directing the work of third parties, including global vendor management, to meet contract specified deliverables, performance or business objectives, in the areas of process definition and implementation, alignment to Keysight business needs and performing audits. Procurement Assures the procurement and inventory management of high technology or life sciences production and/or non-manufacturing materials, equipment and/or services in accordance with supply chain optimization and management objectives. Coordinates material sourcing for new product introduction (NPI) projects, in collaboration with R&D. Establishes and manages supplier relationships including negotiating contracts and prices, monitoring supplier performance, selecting/analyzing the supply base and developing and executing the commodity plans. May manage contract manufacturer (CM) or original design manufacturer (ODM) relationships to ensure inventory optimization. May be responsible for contributing to or leading process improvement efforts, such as in new product introduction (NPI), resourcing, cost reduction and/or quality. May have global responsibility and/or support multiple sites. Works on supply chain/manufacturing logistics or global trade/procurement assignments with clearly defined objectives.
Qualifications: Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent. No prior experience required; may have up to 2 years' relevant experience.
