Junior Chef

Responsibilities:
Set upworkstations with all needed ingredients and cookingequipment.
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking(chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).
Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
Inspect food while cooking to stir or turn.
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before theyare served.
Maintain a sanitized and orderlyenvironment in the kitchen.
Ensure all food andother items are stored properly.
Check qualityof ingredients.
Manage stock and place orderswhen there are shortages.
Requirements:
Proficient in using cutting tools, cookware andbakeware.
Familiarity of various cookingprocedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.).
Capable to follow all sanitation procedures.
Ability to work in a team.
Excellentcommunication skills.
Good physical conditionand stamina.
Possess at least Certificate orDiploma from a Culinary School will be an advantage.
