My Free Course , a rapidly growing EdTech startup, seeks both a talented Senior Social Media Manager and Junior Social Media Manager to join our dynamic remote team and revolutionize how we connect with our learners.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across all major platforms (Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok, Bluesky, YouTube, Telegram, Twitch) that align with the My Free Course brand objectives to enhance brand visibility and engagement across multiple channels.
Create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
Create high-quality content, including articles, newsletters, blogs, social media posts, long and short form videos - ensuring consistency in brand messaging and voice.
Manage and schedule social media posts to maximize reach and engagement.
Analyse social media data and track key metrics (likes, shares, clicks, website traffic)
Identify and leverage trending topics and social media conversations relevant to online education.
Build and nurture relationships with our online community through comments, messages, and social listening.
Collaborate with other departments (design, marketing, and content) to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms
A portfolio showcasing your content creation skills and past campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (this will be tested)
Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, SproutSocial)
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Capcut)
Proficiency in Graphic Design
Nice to Have
Experience in the e-learning or EdTech industry (ideally)
Experience with paid social media advertising
Experience with Google Analytics
Computer: Minimum Windows 10 with 8 GB RAM.

Starting salary:£3,000.00-£4,650.00 per year
Schedule:
(UK GMT) 8-hour working shift with a 30-minute break (flexible within agreed-upon core hours)
Monday - Sunday (5 days a week inclusive of one weekend day)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
Previous social media management experience: 2+ years
