About the role:
Four Seasons Resort Langkawi is searching for a highly skilled, creative and qualified Junior Sous Chef.
Able to plan, organize, control and lead the Kitchen team, responsible for food preparation while ensuring superior quality and consistency.What you will do:
Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees.
Demonstrate the ability to craft and develop attractive and innovative menus that align with the restaurant's concept and standards.
Uphold exceptional customer relations and interactions.
Exhibit strong leadership skills and communication skills, and the ability to work independently, cost control, and manage kitchen operations efficiently.
Embody the spirit of a team player, contributing positively to our collaborative work environment, providing effective training and guidance to the culinary team.
With HACCP knowledge, maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
What you bring:
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the current position.
Extensive knowledge working with wood fire / charcoal grill and modern cooking techniques.
Background in upscale western grill / fine restaurant with Italian and Mediterranean cuisine cooking knowledge.
