Key Account Manager

• Based in Petaling Jaya
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES• Handle important customers that make up the highest percentage of business unit sales and build strong relationships.
• Serve as the major contact point for all key customer matters and respond to client needs to promote performance.
• Assist in team management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO• Contribute to achieving maximal sales and market share.
• Plan field visits (70% of time) to key customers.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to develop key account business strategy and deliver sales achievements.
• Analyze and communicate team needs, customer needs, and feedback to the business.
• Establish sales forecasts.
• Collaborate with the team to support customer and team growth.
• Plan field visits (30% of time) with PSR and coach them in key areas.
• Recruit and coach staff on professional knowledge and job-related skills.
• Set up KPIs to appraise staff performance.
• Lead, supervise, and support team members to achieve their targets and foster career growth.
• Identify training needs for individual PSR to close competency gaps.
• Monitor PSR development as planned.
• Initiate reports on time, suggesting actions that impact the future.
• Report to management on sales performance, promotional activities, competitive activity, and manpower development plans.
• Cooperate with other departments to fulfill assigned tasks.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVETo be successful in this role, you will have:
• Minimum 4 years of specific sales experience; Veterinary Medicine or Animal Science background is preferable.
• Strong data analytic, strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Willingness to travel 30% within Malaysia.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal relationship and negotiation skills.
• Good leadership and coaching abilities.
