_**Responsibilities**:_- Food Preparation: Assist in food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables and fruits. Prepare basic ingredients, like spices and condiments, as directed by the chefs or cooks.- Dishwashing: Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is kept clean and in good working order.- Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by cleaning countertops, sinks, stovetops, and other surfaces. Regularly sweep and mop floors. Dispose of kitchen waste properly.- Stock Management: Assist in the organization and management of kitchen inventory. Keep track of food supplies, monitor stock levels, and inform the kitchen manager when items need to be replenished.- Assistance to Cooks and Chefs: Provide support to the kitchen staff during busy periods, such as retrieving ingredients, fetching items from storage, and helping with plating and garnishing dishes.- Kitchen Safety: Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times, including the proper use of kitchen equipment, handling food safely, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free kitchen environment.- Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure the efficient and timely preparation of meals.
