Job DescriptionResponsible to interpret written or spoken material into one or more other languages (Korean to English and Bahasa Malaysia or Vice versa) ensuring meaning, context, and technical wording are maintained.
Responsibilities:Interpret / Translate verbal and written communications between Korean, English, and Bahasa Malaysia languages for in-house staff.
Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation between the languages in meetings such as phone/web conferences, in-house staff meetings, etc.
Translate technical documentation and other documents, including forms, SOPs, emails, etc. between the aforementioned languages.
Responsible for proofreading, editing, and revising translated materials.
Provide administrative support to the project teams.
Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.
Requirements:Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Korean Language or any field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Korean translator.
TOPIK Level at least minimum Level 4.
Fluent in verbal and written communication skills in Korean.
Experience working in construction or manufacturing will be an added advantage.
Candidates will work on-site in Batu Kawan, Penang.
