Laser Technician

Primary Role:The Laser Technician delivers treatments and services to improve the appearance of the skin. The Laser Technician is also responsible for educating patients on the benefits and risks of treatments, recommending products and providing aftercare advice.Responsibilities:Ensure patient safety and comfort with a smooth flow of patient care.Maintain a high level of customer service, treatment quality and treatment education.Document accurate and timely treatment notes.Price quoting, providing consent forms, pre and post procedure protocol and discussing treatment in detail.Promote services and products with confidence to meet revenue targets.Perform advanced skin and hair removal treatments, chemical peels, acne treatments, and laser treatments for skin rejuvenation.Maintain in-depth knowledge of the product line, including ingredients and applications.Follow all safety and sanitation policies and maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.Participation in Committee Activities:The employee shall take part in the activities of any committee assigned by the supervisor and is expected to attend all scheduled meetings, actively participating in activities related to Doctors Hospital attaining and maintaining Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation.Qualifications / Knowledge Requirements:A recognized esthetician/beauty or cosmetology diploma.Laser and IPL Treatments certification.Minimum 5 years' experience in the aesthetic industry in a spa or aesthetic clinic.Experience working with advanced lasers for Laser Hair Removal, Laser Genesis, Laser Limelight, Laser Titan, and 2D & 3D Laser Treatments.Professionalism and attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent customer skills with the ability to build a strong client base.Accountability:The Laser Technician will be accountable to the Chief Nurse – Director of Operations.Travel:None expected.Benefits:Doctors Hospital offers a competitive benefit package that includes paid vacation, health insurance and pension in accordance with the Cayman Islands regulations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
