Lead and supervise implementation of Civil & Structural (C&S) works for energy and power projects. Perform C&S design works for energy and power related projects such as power plant, turbine foundation, HRSG, pipe racks/sleepers/bridge, underground pipeline culvert, infrastructures, etc. Prepare C&S material take off (MTO) for cost estimation. Preparation of C&S tender specifications, presentation materials for C&S works Marine and Infrastructure planning & design for energy and power projects. Carry out authorities' pre-consultation, submissions and liaison with authorities for approval. Involving in energy and power projects for feasibility studies, conceptual & detailed design, technical due diligence studies, site and technology assessment, technical consultation etc. Supporting business development and project tendering works, proposal preparation, tender evaluation etc. Attending various meetings and preparation of various project reports, presentation and minutes of meeting as required for internal and external client. Managing the assigned tasks and be responsible for delivering satisfactory result under tight timeline, and willing to work beyond normal working hours if required. If required, be assigned for site supervision or site residential role and be able to work under harsh site conditions. Workplace Health & Safety: Ensures good health is maintained through safe work practices. To undertake other assignment from the Regional Manager, Project Manager or Regional Director from time to time. Job Specification Civil Engineering degree from reputable university, Master degree holder will have added advantage. At least 15 years post graduate working experience, preferably in the energy and power industry with proven track record at least with energy and power project design, construction and consultancy works. Candidate with gas/thermal power project experience will have added advantage. Conversant in Eurocodes, MS & BS Codes, NFPA, API, ACI. Registered Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) with Board of Engineers Malaysia is preferred. Able to perform well under tight timeline and fast pace moving environment and multi-tasking ability with good self-discipline and working under minimum supervision as individual contributor or part of a cross functional team. Good spoken and written English. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment. Willing to travel or to be based at outstation or at project site (local or overseas) as required.
