As an SAP Subject Matter Expert specializing in Supply Chain, your mission is to optimize and enhance the efficiency of our supply chain operations through the strategic management and innovation of SAP systems. You will also represent DDN business unit operations and supply chain to help ensure the overall success of the program overseeing the implementation and management of S/4 HANA solutions within DDN operations. This role is critical in ensuring that the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system aligns with business objectives and meets operational needs. This will be by active involvement in process reviews & audits, change management, testing, and testing coordination.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor (System administration) SAP supply chain systems.
Overseeing and managing the configuration and customization of SAP ECC or S/4HANA to ensure it fits the specific requirements of the business.
Analyzing and re-engineering business processes to leverage the features of SAP ECC or S/4HANA, ensuring that the system supports efficient operations (Audits – checks). Develop organizational change management materials for your respective function on behalf of your BU / segment.
Working closely with various stakeholders, including IT, finance, supply chain, Operations, sourcing, and other business units, to gather requirements and ensure the system meets organizational needs.
Lead in support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project timelines, budgets, and resources. Secure effective communication on project progression.
Define, perform and support business process testing (UAT) of global operations and local functions.
Provide and support training efforts on any changes being introduced with the new system.
Secure Process documented and accessible across functions.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP supply chain modules with other business processes and systems.
Assist with and help coordinate data cleansing efforts when necessary.
Identify and support the documentation and resolution of any project issues and gaps.
Coordinate testing efforts with additional assigned resources / local / site specific teams.
Prepare and manage testing scenarios and testing outputs in each test cycle.
Define and execute regression tests as we go through the wave implementations.
Execute the process testing and change management of any interim activities required to take place between the wave such as the changes required to manage activities between two systems. Secure perform root cause analysis for technical incidents which may happen.
Perform and coordinate the global data validation and signoff.
Support the go-live and final implementation (hypercare).
Managing the change associated with the transformation to SAP S/4HANA, including training for users and developing change management strategies to encourage user adoption.
Animate SME and help in grooming Skills and competencies within the organization.
Establishing metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementation and identifying areas for improvement.
Overseeing ongoing maintenance and support for the SAP S/4HANA system, including troubleshooting issues and managing updates.
Utilizing the reporting and analytics capabilities of SAP S/4HANA to provide insights that help drive business decisions.
What your background should look like:Requirements:
Master's degree from relevant field, excellent communication in English language required.
Hands on extensive knowledge of End to End Supply Chain processes – considered by many to be a "super user".
Proficiency in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), ERP, S/4HANA, SAP Basis, Finance (FICO), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Warehouse Management (WM).
Significant experience with SAP implementations, including project management, business process engineering, and change management. (S/4HANA a Plus).
Experience with organizational change management and implementing change in processes.
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, experience working with offshore teams, multi-tasking, and agile methodologies. Data savvy – experience reviewing, assessing, and validating data.
Able to make timely decisions and provide direction to a broad team.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment and work independently.
Willingness to travel when required.
