Essential Responsibilities •Planning, implementing and Carrying out planned and corrective maintenance on all plant Mechanical equipment in a safe and competent manner, to safeguard the availability and operating condition of total plant to supervise and control engineering and design activities of the Power Plant Specific accountabilities
•Accountable for the development of and maintaining a productive and cohesive disciplined team
•Assist to maintain technical competence of personnel within the team and ensure work is carried out competently and effectively, within time and budget constraints, and that project objectives are satisfied.
•Identify, anticipate and implement proactive efforts on critical spare inventory levels for plant availability.
•Identify and manage sources for replacement materials / work closely with sourcing for establishing new vendors .
•Prepare mechanical discipline man-hour estimates to perform project tasks. Regularly provide a forecast requirement for mechanical engineering resources, and allocate those resources.
•Ensure mechanical design integrity of work scope and deployment, use and maintenance of applicable codes and standards.
•Review and/or approval of calculations, technical notes, requisitions, specifications, drawings, vendor technical evaluations and similar deliverables produced by the section.
•Within the team promote awareness of project EHS requirements and compliance with assurance plans adopted for the project.
•Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system
•Ensure that the team personnel consistently work within the Quality Management System.

•Check compliance with Project QA/safety/environment goals.
•Promote and implement agreed initiatives to improve cost effectiveness and productivity on the project.
•Encourage and champion the inter-discipline communication development across the Units, Area and Project.
•Execute and manage mechanical maintenance plan and any approved design changes within O&M budget and schedule frameworks.
•Technical and managerial supervision of Team Preparing equipment database, method of statement & job plans for plant computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
•Providing maintenance feedback through (CMMS) with all required failure reports and documentations.
•Assist Maintenance Manager in meeting relevant KPI`s

Qualifications/Requirements
•Approximately 8 years of experience with heavy Machinery and Maintenance concepts of which a minimum of 2 Years' experience as Team Leader of Mechanical Maintenance on a heavy-duty gas turbine
•Ability to lead a mechanical crew
•Handling of machine tools (e.g. lathe) for modifications, repair and production of small spare parts
•Able to work unsupervised on mechanical tasks at the Power Plant as needed
•Competent with MS office software
•Proficient in CMMS or similar Maintenance Management system
•Degree in Mechanical Engineering
