Key Responsibilities:
Support major R2R enhancements and projects in support of the Finance organization.
Participate and contribute to the successful completion of all deliverables associated with their process team, e.g., Business Process Procedures, Fit/Gap Identification, and Functional Specifications.
Partner with the business and Global team to implement and solve new localization and statutory requirements.
Must have strong collaboration skills including the ability to work with all levels of the Finance organization.
Analyze business requirements and map solutions leveraging the global template functionality or localized solutions.
Validate the SAP fit to business requirements.
Identify workarounds and business process changes if necessary.
Determine how business reporting requirements will be supported.
Identify master data requirements and design master data files.
Configure, unit test, system test, integration, and regression test end-to-end solution for business events.
Participate in the issue resolution process.
Review training content to ensure accuracy of business process documentation.
Address post-go live issues escalated by users.
Continuous improvement of global template.
(Improve and optimize the global template to support changes to the business and process efficiency).
The Successful Applicant:
Extensive knowledge of SAP FICO configuration capabilities.
Comprehensive understanding of SAP FI and CO applications, including key integration points across SAP modules.
Experience with user exits, enhancements, and custom development techniques.
Ability to develop functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers.
Broad-based FI knowledge across various financial process streams.
Knowledge of SAP general ledger, including NewGL and parallel ledgers.
Understanding of SAP substitution and derivation rules, including user exits.
Knowledge of SAP banking and treasury functionality.
Experience with AR and AP functions and their integration with treasury functions like EBS.
Working knowledge of fixed assets and capital planning, including project systems and investment management.
Extensive knowledge of SAP product costing in a make-to-stock process-oriented industry.
Experience with transfer pricing and intercompany cross-border movements.
Knowledge of SD integration points to COPA, including pricing and revenue account determination.
Experience with Profitability Analysis and interfacing large volumes of data from E-Commerce platforms and Retail POS systems.
Experience working with an Integration Hub or OMS layer.
Strong functional knowledge of FICO functionality including GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Treasury, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
Knowledge of ASAP and waterfall methodologies as well as Hybrid-Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of SAP best practices and CPG template including integration with DTC (Direct to Consumer).
Demonstrated capability to graphically document workflow, roles, and responsibilities at a functional (system user) level.
Demonstrated capability to transform functional specifications into technical specifications.
