Legal & Compliance Executive

Responsibilities : Drafting and reviewing legal documents including agreements and contracts such as supply agreements, distribution agreements and service agreements.Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and corporate policies.Assisting in organizing and tracking compliance programs for the company, including developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure legal and ESG compliance and alignment with best practices.Providing legal requirements updates, strategic advice and guidance to the management on legal issues including risk management, dispute resolution and regulatory compliance. Supporting in developing and delivering training materials and awareness programs related to legal and compliance matters.Assisting in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits, including gathering and organizing the necessary documentation and information.Managing external legal counsel as necessary.Ensuring proper filing and keeping track of all legal statutory records, files and legal documents.Undertake any ad-hoc duties/tasks as required by the management.  Requirements : Bachelor of Laws (Hons) or relevant professional qualification.1-3 years of relevant working experience in legal, compliance or any related field. Experience in litigation, corporate and commercial will have an added advantage. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.Familiar with relevant laws, regulations and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) requirements including those related to corporate governance and anti-corruption.Skills in legal research, commercial drafting and litigation.Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
