Surveillance & Compliance Officer

Job Responsibilities Monitor Surveillance: Continuously observe security cameras footage and alarms systems, promptly investigating and responding to any unusual or unauthorized activities.Alarm system: Ensure all of the outlets armed after operation hour. Promptly respond and assist the staff outlets in the event of alarm triggering or alarm inquiries.To use the CCTV system, integrate with alarm system to help detect and deter crime and provide high quality evidence to allow enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute offenders.Emergency Response: Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents promptly and appropriately, taking necessary actions to resolve or mitigate the situationConduct on-site outlet inspections involves ensuring compliance with security, surveillance, health and safety standards, and SOPs.Conduct a site visit on security equipment functionality and procedureReport Writing: Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting all security-related activities.Ensure that all incidents are reported and responded correctly and incident reports completed where required.To ensure that all monitoring system, or server issues within the CCTV department are addressed in an appropriate and timely manner.Provide training to new hires and develop a customized training program for each employee based on their job responsibilities.Support the continual development of working practice and maintain an excellent knowledge of all sites.Prepare reports and regularly updates to Head of Department.Any ad-hoc task assigned by management from time to time. Job Requirements Diploma & aboveMust be able to communicate (read and write) in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.Candidate with security, law enforcement, retail experience or a related field is advantageous.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.Able to work night shifts, including weekends and holidaysWilling to work outstationPossess own transportStrong observational and communication skills.Experience in technical systems and excellent verbal communication skillsMaintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all timesHave the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied CCTV systems and platforms is an added advantage.Good analytical, problem-solving skills and able to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines
