Main Areas of Responsibilities
You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, processing, negotiating, commenting, and approving various standard contracts and documents, e.g., confidentiality agreements, corporate statutory documents.
In particular, you will handle international sales and purchasing transactions based on playbooks and defined negotiation limits, in cooperation with the legal and patent department.
You will take over the input and maintenance of contract parameters as well as contracts and contract changes in the existing Contract Lifecycle Tool.
You will identify ways to improve the current knowledge management system and capture new information that can be stored in the knowledge base in cooperation with the legal department.
You will ensure efficiency of contract creation, management, and approval processes, plus the creation and maintenance of standard contract models, clauses, and playbooks.
You will support legal tasks in M&A and project implementation, e.g., due diligence, assigning contracts for project integration.
You will support compliance audits and legal investigations, prepare and update presentation slides and training records for Legal & Compliance.
You will support other ancillary legal tasks, e.g., providing contract overview using AI tools, conducting assessments through the data protection application, translation, and other housekeeping activities.
Requirements
Education
You have successfully completed your university degree in law, preferably with a focus on commercial law.
Working Experience
You have already gained 1 to 3 years of professional experience in legal and commercial contract management, preferably with knowledge or law practice on both common law and civil law systems.
Technical & Professional Knowledge
You have experience in drafting and legal review of contracts, preferably with a commercial law emphasis.
You are fluent in English and Mandarin, enabling you to successfully contribute to an international environment.
You are used to working with legal databases and standard IT applications.
You communicate effectively and in line with the target audience and use value-creating opportunities for cooperation, both in-house and across units.
