This job is a Legal Specialist role that involves handling legal affairs, drafting documents, providing legal opinions, and safeguarding the enterprise's interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle legal affairs independently, including main projects, litigation, and non-litigation business matters.
Draft and review documents, conduct project due diligence, and provide professional opinions on relevant legal issues to maximize the enterprise's interests.
Draft and review business contracts and documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Assist in handling legal matters, such as arbitration and litigation, and provide expert advice to stakeholders.
Provide legal consultation and training for relevant personnel, promoting a culture of compliance and risk management.
Requirements:
Language proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese (preferred)
Malaysian law degree from a recognized institution
1-3 years of legal practice experience, preferably in litigation
Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide business-oriented legal advice
Thorough understanding of the Malaysian legal and regulatory landscape, including recent developments and changes
