**Job Description:**

Media Prima Berhad is seeking a proactive and reliable Live Chat Associate to join our dynamic team in George Town, Penang. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who are adaptable and possess strong communication skills, as you will be responsible for engaging with our clients and audience through live chat platforms. **Primary Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Interaction:** Engage with customers via live chat to provide timely responses to inquiries, resolve issues, and recommend suitable products and services. Aim to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

- **Issue Resolution:** Identify customer needs effectively and offer tailored solutions by troubleshooting issues and navigating complex situations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.

- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, services, and ongoing promotions to ensure accurate and helpful interaction with customers.

- **Data Entry:** Accurately log conversations and maintain detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, feedback, and requests in the company's database.

- **Sales Support:** Utilize persuasion techniques to encourage purchases and sign-ups during chat interactions. Meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets set by management.

- **Feedback Collection:** Gather customer feedback and insights regarding the services provided to help inform product and service improvements.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, including Marketing and Customer Service teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement strategies and issue resolution.

- **Continuous Learning:** Stay informed about industry trends and shifts in customer behavior by participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge base continuously.

- **Performance Monitoring:** Analyze personal performance and adapt strategies accordingly, seeking guidance as necessary from supervisors.

**Requirements:**

- **Education:** A minimum of a diploma in any field related to customer service, communications, or business administration.

- **Experience:** At least 4 years of experience in customer service, live chat support, or a related role.

- **Personality Traits:**
- **Adaptable:** Ability to adjust to new challenges and environments efficiently.
- **Reliable:** A strong sense of responsibility to provide consistent support and services to customers.

- **Soft Skills:**
- **Persuasion:** Capable of influencing customer decisions through effective communication techniques.
- **Strategic Planning:** Ability to plan and execute customer engagement strategies that align with both immediate and long-term business goals.

- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in using live chat software, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- **Language Proficiency:** Strong command of English; proficiency in Malay or Mandarin is a plus.
