Your new role
As the new Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you will be at the helm of a dedicated team, driving enhancements in both inbound and outbound operations. You'll collaborate closely with suppliers, logistics service providers, government agencies, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient processes. In this role, you'll also oversee the warehouse occupancy rate, ensuring it remains at an optimal level. You'll have the opportunity to introduce and implement innovative processes and system improvements across warehouse and logistics functions, leading to significant operational enhancements. Your efforts will not only streamline operations but also strengthen customer-client relationships and uphold the company's esteemed market reputation. This position offers a unique platform to influence and advance their logistical strategies, fostering greater efficiency and productivity across the board.
What you'll need to succeedHands on LMW operations experience is a must.
Closely monitoring and tracking finished goods quantities, stock levels, freight scheduling, and transport costs to ensure highly efficient operations.
Organising and managing the operations of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods, while effectively utilising warehouse space to accommodate all items.
Developing and implementing effective process and system improvements to enhance productivity and achieve performance targets in line with management objectives.
Ensuring compliance with regulations from Customs, MIDA, MITI, and other related government agencies concerning import/export matters.
Strong people management skills.
