Job DescriptionAlignment on forecast volume, trend and planning.
Coordinate on daily shipment including mode of transport request, criticality and make the best decision on suitable mode of transportation.
End to end and on time track and trace for all shipments.
Special booking and hyper care attention on expedite/I-STAR/ad-hoc shipment including being able to support over the weekend or beyond the working hours.
Coordinate with planners on I-Star claim back status on a weekly basis and export control team for audit on a quarterly basis.
Work with TMC digitalization on I-Star dashboard status.
Manage approval of functional workflow and closure of I-Star.
Attend any plant workshop or meeting by the Logistic department (LOG).
Coordinate on holiday notification, planning and support needed for shipment between LSP and planners.
Data collection and sharing including daily, weekly, monthly and shipment dashboard.
Close follow up on shipment transfer to external warehouse to ensure meeting shipment cut-off time.
Support the requirement of end customer on logistics requests, ad-hoc shipments, reporting, rate and billing clarifications daily.
Quarterly meeting to discuss LSPs performance, strategization, allocation and other arising issues together with PgP1, PUI and network team.
Alignment with Shipping on LSP allocation, expedite shipment arrangement and provide clear instruction on critical materials shipments arrangement (delay, pull in, etc.).
Coordination on mode of shipment, timeliness of documentation, truck delay or issues which prevent loading on time.
Alignment on mode of shipment, capacity, timing on loading, forecast planning, inventory availability or to be made available to plan for loading, invoice cut-off to meet the cut-off time.
Coordination on change of mode of shipment where needed to support business needs.
Alignment on shipment arrangement and track and trace for trial shipment on packaging change, sample and machine shipment.
Contact window for Overland shipment with TMC (Vietnam).
Provide tender support on the volume and sharing/feedback on the LSP performance to PUI/LSP manager.
Ensure rate card is always valid and trigger for action whenever near expiry and provide clarification/suggestion on the new rate with improvements needed from LSP.
Alignment on new lane introduction or backup plan based on needs and frequency.
Allocation of volume among LSPs, and solve bottleneck in capacity issues.
Optimize freight based on the allocation and quota rate capped.
Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) projects to achieve both process efficiency and cost savings.
LSP performance management, including change route, exception handling, KPI tracking.
LSP onboarding and new route or transport modes change implementation with all requirements clearly documented and followed.
Ability to strategize towards each LSP according to their performance, dynamic capacity and rate.
Manage LSPs operational deviations including root cause analysis and PDCA for improvement.
Coordinate on claim management between internal, LSP including liaising with surveyor or adjustor and informing plant regarding final results and also the chargeback (if any).
Involved in yearly and ad-hoc freight PO raised after budget/I-Star allocations/approval.
Manage purchase and PO approval via My I-buy.
Conduct MBR and regular LSP audit.
QualificationsDegree in Logistics or Supply Chain related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Logistics, with knowledge in Warehouse and Customs.
Familiarity with Transportation Freight Management in a Manufacturing background.
Experience in transport planning and coordination would be of great advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholder expectations.
Preference for SAP knowledge.
Ability to support beyond working hours subject to business needs.
Strong personality with high integrity and leadership experience.
Willingness to support any other tasks, back up outside of normal responsibilities from time to time when needed.
