Logistic Supervisor

Job Responsibilities: '¢ Responsible to fully handle import and export and local delivery activities. '¢ Planning & negotiating with shipper /shipping agent / forwarder for the shipment quotation, shipment term & HS code. '¢ Responsible to build up logistic and warehouse team through hiring process. '¢ Manage a team to liaise with suppliers, forwarding agents and authorities (Custom/MITI/MIDA) and follow up the status of shipments and deliveries. '¢ Manage a team to liaise internally with Purchasing, Finance, Civil Technical, EHS, HR, IT & Engineering production team for smoothly supply chain process. '¢ Successfully obtained Pre-LMW and Single Code Tax exemption for imported machinery/ Equipment / raw-material. '¢ Manage a team to maintain/handle all the documents related with imported tax exemption by liaising with governmental departments and statutory bodies in regard to import & export custom clearance, import duties, import & export licenses, duty drawback. '¢ Currently, helping company to convert warehouse to LMW status & follow up all the related compliances documents. '¢ Participate with IT team to set up ERP & SAP system. '¢ Chairing weekly departmental meeting & give clear instruction to subordinate by helping team to reach final goals. '¢ Direct report to Supply Chain Manager by planning logistic/warehouse activities, shipment progress to achieve the goals. '¢ Assist Manager to develop & improve Logistic/ Warehouse skills, teamwork & process.
