Logistics Customer Service Officer - ImportOur company is looking for a Logistic Customer Service Officer who is able to handle export and import shipments.
Job Description:
Daily coordination with Shipping Agency on import/export shipment and customs related issues/documentation.
Arrange shipment by examining destination, route, rate, delivery time, dispatches and carrier.
Verify merchandise shipped by matching AWB/BLs reconciling quantities, noting discrepancies.
Check the products customs tariff code and liaise with customs/forwarding for any procedure and query.
Keep customers informed by forwarding notices, shipment date and method, shipment status and answering questions.
Prepare booking, check invoices and other related shipping documents for both incoming and outgoing shipments.
Coordinate between warehouse, transporter, shipper and consignee to assure smooth operation and shipment.
Assist with collection and dispatch of documentation.
Prepare weekly report to customers.
Sourcing, compiling and quoting of freight rates and local trucking charges.
To send and collect documents when needed.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/O Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients and suppliers.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Customer Service or equivalent.
Possess own transport.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to multi-task.

Attention to detail and accuracy.
Time management and organizational skills.
