Position
The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain and logistics processes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, developing supply chain strategies, and fostering continuous improvement in logistics and supply chain management.
Responsibilities
Lead, support, and develop teams across order administration, purchasing, materials management, and warehousing.
Monitor and analyze Supply Chain KPIs and prepare monthly performance reports.
Develop and implement strategies for an efficient and responsive supply chain.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and customers to improve service levels and cost-efficiency.
Create, monitor, and manage the logistics and supply chain budget.
Participate in and lead various improvement projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain and logistics efficiency.
Optimize inventory and material flow to ensure service continuity and cost management.
Oversee logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing.
Manage compliance with international trade regulations and promote sustainability across the supply chain.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and maintenance of appending data.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Warehousing or in a related field.
5+ years work experience as Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager or related required.
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management practices and systems.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop cross-functional teams.
Excellent English communication skills (speaking, listening, and writing) for reporting and presentations.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Strong analytical thinking, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
Open-minded and adaptable with a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
