Role Overview:
Roche is seeking anSAP SD Data Consultantto join our team for a pivotal role in our SAP S/4HANA implementation project.
This position involves managing and executing data migration, validation, and governance tasks specific to the SAP SD module, working closely with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment with business needs for Sales and Distribution functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements, design data migration solutions, and support the successful transition of SD-related data into the new SAP S/4HANA system.
Lead data migration, transformation, and validation processes for SAP SD, focusing on customer, sales order, and pricing data to maintain accuracy and compliance with governance standards.
Resolve SAP SD data-related issues, providing expert support and guidance to ensure data consistency and operational efficiency.
Document all data configurations, customizations, and migration activities, ensuring clear and comprehensive project records.
Conduct training for end-users on SAP SD data functionalities, promoting effective usage and understanding of data within the new system.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP data management, with a strong focus on the SD module.
Demonstrated experience in SAP SD data migration, ETL processes, and template rollouts, with an understanding of best practices for data governance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to data solution design.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration is advantageous but not required.
