About the roleAs the M&E Coordinator at Newgates Industries Borneo Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical (M&E) operations within our Semporna Sabah facility.
This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and efficient functioning of our M&E systems, contributing to the overall success of our engineering projects.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems
Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and effective delivery of M&E works
Monitor and maintain M&E equipment and systems, implementing preventive and corrective maintenance plans
Identify and resolve M&E-related issues, troubleshooting problems and implementing appropriate solutions
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Prepare and maintain accurate M&E-related documentation, including reports, drawings, and records
Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team as needed
What we're looking for
Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar M&E coordinator or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, equipment, and installation practices
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and manuals
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
