Mainframe Cobol Developer - Cobol, P/L1, Mainframe Cics, Jcl

Responsibilities: Planning & managing IT projects and exercise prudent project management principles to implement the projects/system enhancements successfully.Supervise the technical team, managing work assignments and skill resources in delivering quality output and meeting project deadlines.Design, analyse, code and test programs for system development / enhancements in accordance to user specificationsManaging user requests, system enhancement, deployment, performance and problem resolution activities and be responsive to the needs and meeting user demands.Major Challenges Include:-Responsive to the needs of the user in meeting user expectations and demands including high number of user change requests.Achieve high quality of the system in terms of availability and meeting the agreed service levels.Other Essential Requirements:Project management skillsApplication Architecture Analysis & DesignStrong analytical mind, good Problem analysis & Troubleshooting skillsTeam-leading qualities – coaching & team motivationKnowledge & experience in Custody / Nominees preferable Good interpersonal and communication skillsStrong Technical skill-sets Programming : Cobol, P/L1Database : Mainframe CICSOS : IBM MainframeMiddleware : MQ Others: MVS JCL
