Job Responsibilities:
Improve, measure and control maintenance performance trends as well as taking corrective and preventive action when necessary.
Plan, manage, and execute all maintenance activities, ensuring activities are carried out within defined procedures and standards.
Oversee building maintenance, repair, and upgrades, complying with environmental and safety procedures relating to the facility.
Ensure maintenance activities align with departmental KPIs.
Train and motivate subordinates to achieve department objectives and goals.
Assist the AGM - Operation in monitoring and improving production machine performance.
Participate in machine OEE improvement and cost reduction programs.
Act as the company representative for DOE, BOMBA, DOSH, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga-related matters.
Ensure compliance with all DOE, BOMBA, DOSH, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements and legal standards.
Drive continuous improvement in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 management system requirements.
Perform any other jobs or duties as required by the superior.
Compliance Responsibilities:
DOE:
- Communicate with the related DOE officer.
- Ensure all legal requirements related to EQA are in place.
- Update all relevant info required in the eSwis Portal as per EQA requirements.
- Update all relevant info required in the OER (WWTP).
- Daily monitoring of WWTP operation, performance, and quality according to legal requirements.
Bomba:
- Communicate with the related BOMBA matters.
- Coordinate with appointed contractor for Plant Fire Fighting System maintenance.
- Handle the yearly renewal process for Fire Fighting Alarm SPKA System.
- Coordinate the FC Renewal with relevant contractor and BOMBA including Inspection and System/Drawing Update.
- Handle the yearly renewal process for all Fire Extinguishers.
DOSH:
- Work with Safety Officer on the license renewal for Overhead Crane and Air Receiver Tank.
- Coordinate with relevant persons and suppliers for the DOSH inspection for Overhead Crane and Air Receiver Tank.
- Arrange and coordinate the registration of new equipment requiring DOSH license.
Suruhanjaya Tenaga:
- Communicate with the related ST officer.
- Monitor HT/MSB system condition including Cap Bank and Power Factor readings at our HT (MSB) Room.
- Check and verify our Outsource Chargeman and Visiting Engineer Report.
- Handle the renewal process for 11kv license and chargeman registration.
- Arrange for related electrical equipment calibration and transformer oil analysis with qualified contractors.
Minimum Skills / Qualifications:
Preferably at least 5 years of experience in a managerial position.
Preferably experience in machine and facilities maintenance.
Strong leadership qualities with good interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards.
Familiarity with DOE, BOMBA, DOSH, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations.
Competency in CePIETSO-BP will be an added advantage.
