Responsibilities:
Lead the Maintenance System administration & deployment for ams OSRAM's advanced 200mm Wafer Fabrication start-up site in Kulim, Malaysia.
Manage Maintenance systems including SAP PM, OPRA, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and Augmented Reality (AR) for maintenance activities.
Learn, develop, and deploy necessary Maintenance System competencies from headquarters in Regensburg to the new site.
Deploy desired modules of the Maintenance Systems for the start-up site to enable seamless production ramp-up.
Integrate necessary Maintenance Systems and sub-systems into the overall system architecture.
Author requirement/functional specifications for new/existing Maintenance Systems and modules/solutions.
Design test cases and perform black box testing for system capabilities, documenting them in the test management system.
Champion the introduction of advanced concepts such as Planned, Predictive, and Prescriptive Maintenance using integration to SECS/GEM Host acquired data.
Perform administrative functions of the Maintenance Systems such as Master Data Management, Reporting, and Disposition.
Design PL/SQL Triggers and Functions to integrate other sub-systems into the respective Maintenance Systems.
Train and support production use of the Maintenance Systems.
Provide 2nd level support and resolution for Maintenance System related incidents.
Lead & train the 24x7 1st level support team to adequately support incidents observed in the line.
Requirements:
Master/bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
Three or more years of experience working with Maintenance Related systems, e.g., SAP PM, IBM MAXIMO, or eMaint CMMS.
One or more years of experience working with Augmented Reality (AR) tools to assist maintenance activities, e.g., Microsoft HoloLens.
Experienced and knowledgeable in SEMI Standards, namely E-004 (SECS-I), E-005 (SECS-II), E-010 (RAM), E-030 (GEM), E-037 (HSMS), and E-142 Substrate Mapping.
Familiarity with common CIM components such as SPC, RMS, R2R, and FDC is highly desired.
Familiarity with web technologies such as VB.NET, C#.NET, web services, SOAP, and XML is advantageous.
Proficient in database technologies and PL/SQL statements.
Familiarity and exposure to MES systems such as Critical Manufacturing, Siemens Opcenter aka Camstar, FactoryWorks, Fab 300, Eyelit, IBM SiView, or similar systems.
A highly inquisitive, logical & intuitive nature with attention to detail, coupled with creativeness & innovativeness are essential traits for success in this position.
Good command of the English language and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of people is desirable.
Candidate will be required to travel and temporarily be based in Europe for training and project execution.
