Job Summary: The Maintenance Executive will oversee the maintenance operations of the poultry farm, ensuring all equipment and facilities are in optimal working condition. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities to enhance productivity and safety on the farm.
Job Responsibilities : Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all farm equipment, including feeding systems, watering systems, ventilation, and heating systems.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and utilities issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions in farm operations.Propose and review to farm improvement project on machinery upgrading, installation of new equipment and technologies to improve farm efficiency.Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, ensuring effective task delegation and completion.Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and industry best practices, promoting a safe working environment.Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts, ensuring availability when needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance checklist, activities, repairs, and inspections.Work closely with farm management and other departments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks based on operational requirements.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance for analysis and reporting.Provide training and support to farm staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures. Qualifications and skills : Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a maintenance role.Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in agricultural or poultry settings.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, and general construction practices.
