Maintenance Manager (Theme Parks)

To plan, repairs / upgrade and renovate works required to facilities, furnishings and equipment and maintaining them at a high degree of efficiency and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. To Plan, oversee and handling all aspects of maintenance works.
2. Be sure all safety procedures set to be follow at all times when carrying out duties.
3. To ensure that maintenance work is carried out safely, efficiently and with minimum disruption to guests and members of the public.
4. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
5. Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff with weekly update to supervisor.
6. Monitor equipment inventory, place orders when necessary and submit monthly inventory record.
7. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance i.e. utilities expenses.
8. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
JOB DUTIES 1. To plan, repairs/upgrading, renovation etc for the Outlets & Theme park
2. To liaise with contractors and TNB on shop lot renovation, power supply application as per renovation manual
3. To arrange and ensure periodic preventive maintenance work being carried out as per schedule
4. To schedule, supervise and leading a team of maintenance staff on completing the assigned duties within the Outlets & Theme park
5. To service and maintain all machinery and equipment to ensure machine on best operation condition.
6. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
7. Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1. Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Building)
2. Minimum 5 years' experience and exposure as Maintenance Manager, preferably in the hospitality, hotel or theme park
3. Possess good leadership skill and able to lead and organize a team of subordinates Specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery).
4. Good self-discipline, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
5. Adequate supervision and leadership skills.
6. Able to perform shift work, Sunday and Public Holiday and willing to work long hours
7. Good team player
8. Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
9. Ability to keep track of and report on activity
