Maintenance Technician

Job description :Responsible for the efficient and safe preparation, execution and follow-up of daily technical issues and shutdowns.Ability to analyze problems within his domain and work out solutions to minimize downtime in the plant.Looking for the root cause of technical issues and independent thinkingComplete preventive maintenance of equipment and machinery by following the recommended upkeep schedule.Executes and assists in the different domains of predictive maintenance to increase the efficiency of the plant in more cost effective way.Report technical issues, findings and executed jobs in the best possible way to ensure good internal communication and availability of historical data.Executes the maintenance tasks in compliance with the plant related regulations.
Findings or abnormalities will be resolved with appropriate corrective action within the requested time frame.Ensures external companies and/or third parties work according to agreements and plant regulations and rules and, if needed, supports them in applying them.Acts as a member of the on call systemJob qualifications :Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, in any related fieldCandidate obtain Certified Chargeman BO/AO/A1 will be added valueRequired skill(s): electrical troubleshooting skillsAt least 3/4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.A team player with the ability to work closely with all functional teams within the plant.Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Port Klang.
