About the roleAs a Maintenance Technician (Production) at Pak Keong Food Industries Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and machinery.
This full-time position is based in our Ipoh, Perak facility, where you will work to maintain and troubleshoot our production systems, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
What you'll be doing
Performing regular maintenance and inspections of production machinery and equipment to identify and address any issues or potential problems
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of production equipment
Collaborating with the production team to minimise downtime and maximise equipment efficiency
Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs
Implementing preventive maintenance protocols to proactively address potential issues
Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new production equipment
Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
Proficient in the use of tools and equipment required for maintenance and repair tasks
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Good communication and teamwork skills
