We pledge to make Eastspring a place where you can Connect, Grow and Succeed.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESUnderstands markets, investments related process, products, strategies, and designated client business and portfolio issues to grow FUM.Identifies new business from institutional and ultra-high net worth clients, prepares presentations, follows up on client contacts, and recommends investment solutions.Communicates investment strategies to clients and prospects from the Investment team.Maintains existing client relationships and looks for ways and opportunities to grow existing business.Participates in the implementation of business and product development initiatives.Maintains and collaborates with the team to perform the following: preparation of investment/marketing proposals, presentation slides, letters (external), memos (internal), client reporting, due diligence, Request for Proposal (RFP), client onboarding, and any other business and operational related matters as required.Assumes other duties as assigned by the management: management reporting, risk reporting, operations process-related meetings, review/update of department manual, and administrative and management-related matters.Assumes other duties as prescribed by the management.EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONSQualificationsPreferably a degree or equivalent in Business/Marketing/Economics/Finance.Additional qualification in investment management will be an added advantage.ExperienceAt least 3-5 years of experience in the capital market industry.Preferably with experience in dealing with fund managers, institutional clients, and product managers.Project management from planning through implementation is an added advantage.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesFamiliar with financial and capital markets with an understanding of investment products and concepts.Proficiency and comfort with financial data, data analysis, and data visualization.Reasonable analytical skill to develop effective and attractive presentation slides.Excellent command of English and Malay in written and spoken form with strong presentation and communication skills.High flexibility, great attention to detail, good logical and critical thinking, a sharp and analytical mind.Possess a proactive working attitude and sense of responsibility; willing to accept new challenges.Apart from being independent, is a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working across organizational structures.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).Eastspring is an equal opportunity employer.We provide equality of opportunity and benefits for all who apply and who perform work for our organization irrespective of sex, race, age, ethnic origin, educational, social and cultural background, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, religion or belief, disability, or part-time/fixed-term work, or any other status protected by applicable law.
