Job Description:?Develop and coordinate effective mitigation strategies (e.g. flaring and venting reductions, energy efficiency, carbon capture utilization and storage, renewable energy, carbon trading and offset) long term aspiration and roadmap and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission reduction target for PETRONAS Chemicals Group, guided by PETRONAS Carbon Commitments to reduce GHG emissions.??Plan and facilitate Climate Change Risk Assessment process through identification, evaluation and prioritization of risks to manage potential financial and reputational impacts & periodically update the Climate Change risk profile to be reported to Group Risk Management.??Manage the consolidation, analyse and interpret the historical GHG emissions and Energy Use data to develop effective mitigation strategies for PETRONAS Chemicals Group manage the monitoring and reporting of GHG emissions reduction and energy efficiency programmes, including renewable energy initiatives in PETRONAS Chemicals Group.??Manage, track and monitor PETRONAS Chemicals Group GHG emissions reduction and climate change adaptation performance and intervention plans through timely reporting and review to support long term aspiration, roadmap and targets & review performance of PETRONAS Carbon Commitments and report to relevant high level management platforms.??Manage the collaboration across various operating units within PETRONAS Chemicals Group, a wide range of industry stakeholders & partners across the industry to promote PETRONAS Chemicals Group commitment in order to gain support and buy in for effective implementation of Climate Change programmes.??Qualifications:?Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or relevant disciplines.?Masters Degree is Sustainability/Climate Change is an added advantage.??Requirements:?Overall 10 years of work experience in energy/chemical industry.?Minimum 5 years of work experience in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting, GHG emissions reduction or climate change adaptation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
