This role will be responsible to manage Group's governance matters and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements, including Bank Negara Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia, Companies Commission of Malaysia and etc. This role also involves handling all matters related to management control of subsidiaries.
Job Description
-Manage Group's governance matters and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements, including Bank Negara Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia and etc.
-Manage matters related to management control of subsidiaries :
-Establish clear decision-making authority and protocols between the parent company and subsidiary.
-Oversight and monitor the development of subsidiaries' overall policies, procedure, guidelines etc. to ensure compliance with applicable law, regulations and corporate policies.
-Management, verification and provide guidance to ensure compliance of the subsidiary's governance and operations.
-Manage services related to management contracts and brand royalty contracts concluded between the Company and its subsidiaries.
-Provide guidance on the management of necessary licenses, approvals, and notifications for subsidiaries, as well as on responding to matters pointed out by the relevant authorities.
-Provide guidance, advice, and coordination to subsidiaries in dealing with financial systems, laws, and regulations (foreign investment control laws, business-related supervision and regulations, personnel affairs, and withdrawal).

; Requirements:- Job Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Corporate Governance, administrative professional working in a corporate environment or related field. A master's degree is an advantage.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Governance, or a related role.
-Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft complex policies documents and communicate effectively with different level of stakeholders.
-Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
-High level of integrity and professionalism, with a strong attention to detail.
-Proficiency in using corporate governance software and document management systems.
