Job Purpose Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and supervising the activities of the Group Corporate Planning team to deliver the initiatives in the Group's annual corporate plan. Job Responsibilities 1) Group Corporate Planning Initiatives Management
Develop and maintain a yearly list of key strategic initiativesInitiates and coordinates the development of the annual Group Business Plan and BudgetCoordinate and collaborate across the organization to contribute to the development of business strategies/plansPartner with all business divisions to ensure strategic business cases and plans are robust and aligned to the overall Group's business goals.Help facilitate decision-making during discussions and coordinate follow-through on important takeaway items.Analysis and presentation of data related to strategy execution to support Senior Management and Board decision making.Participate in financial analysis, developing potential new investments, ventures and business relationships.Provide senior management with concise reporting and insightful analysis.Evaluation of business ideas / investmentsCompetitors analysis and benchmarkReconcile top-down & bottom-up department plans to division plansProvide advice / recommendations that promote investors' confidence while taking into consideration enterprise-wide risks, meet rules and regulations, financial viability and align to the Group's business objectives. 2) Investor Relations Management
Organisation of roadshows and press briefings on financial results.Undertake tasks that involve interpreting and analyzing data related to the Group that may affect shareholders. This includes any analysis ranging from internally sourced data regarding the Group's periodic financials to trends found by third-party analysts about the industry as a whole.Responsible for building financial valuation and creating financial models to form a view on the company's share price or turn data into information that can be populated into corporate investor relations presentation.Information preparation such as annual report and corporate profiles involve consolidating relevant material based on the need of the user (whether it's current investors, third party analysts, management, etc.) and summarizing it into a comprehensible manner.Creation and/or upkeep of the Group's information database, so that investment information is readily available at times of future needs. 3) Project Management and Corporate Exercise
Provides professional advice on economic analysis and other studies for all corporate projects and activities within the GroupDrive the Group's corporate exercises and fundingDevelop financial models for forecasting and project analysis.Well-versed with existing and new rules relating to corporate exercises.Manage other special projects that are assigned 4) Staff Development and Engagement
Monitor staff performance, development plan, discipline and performance matters/issues.Provide coaching, guidance, mentoring to direct reports and clear communication of strategies to all staff within Group Corporate Planning.Provide leadership by creating a collaborative, innovative, results-orientated environment and cultivate the skills required to deliver key services to ensure job satisfaction, retention and constant improvements to functional competenciesEnsure high quality work, that is well thought out, accurate and strategic by being the filter before pass offs to cross functional teams and leaders Requirements Undergraduate degree / professional qualification in FinanceMinimum 10 years of relevant working experienceExperience in Corporate Finance / AuditKnowledge of Finance, Communications, Marketing and Securities Law complianceStrong analytical skills and thought processStrong relationship management and presentation skillsStrong problem solving, decision quality, planning & priority settingIn-depth Financial and Business Acumen
