Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Manager, Field Sales who will be responsible for acquiring partnerships between foodpanda and the best-in-class restaurants and Shops.
If you are interested in jugling as an independent contributor while having some exposure in to mentor and Key Responsibilities:Manager, Field Sales at foodpanda are responsible for driving B2B sales, seek and secure a new partnership with vendorsPassionate and should have a keen interest in the food and beverage industry with a desire to sign up the best local and international vendorsGather both restaurant and shops feedback, monitor competitor activity and provide recommendations for improvements to managementExceed sales targets & performance-based goals while working independently.
At the same time, you are required to occasionally step in to mentor and guide the team as a subject matter expert.Manage portfolio of vendors, which includes restaurant and shops accounts and exceed goals for account retention, development, and maintenanceBe the local market expert: You know the best restaurant & shops in Malaysia and always able to provide recommendationsBe the brand ambassador: Conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in person meetings and sell foodpanda service to potential vendors which include tiptop shops and restaurants in MalaysiaQualificationsAt least 3+ years' experience of sales roles in MNCs, consulting, e-commerce or start upsStrong management skills: manage and motivate your team in the field.Flexibility, restaurants & shops do not always operate on 9-to-5 schedulesSelf-motivated with the ability to travel, work remotely and under pressureOutgoing and confident in their appearanceProactive and could lead independent projectsDemonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizationYou are an 'out-of-the box' thinker and want to always challenge the status quo
