S/he is responsible to facilitate the overall in-country HR processes and people programs.S/he is responsible for the full spectrum of in-country HR. Some of the specific areas of focus are as listed but not limited to:- Development of overall organization & people strategies- Management of HR operational functions- Effective Performance Management- Analyse the financial / rewards strategiesIn addition, incumbent needs to be passionate about the latest HR / Talent movement trend in the marketplace, keep-abreast with the latest HR legal requirement related to the day-to-day management of HR Capital, ensuring regulatory compliances, and reducing unnecessary legal /risk to the company and business.**HR Operational & Leadership Support**- Provide overall HR policy guidance and interpretation at workplace- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues within the business units and conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.- Provides day-to-day HR Operational supports like performance management guidance to line managers and employees.- Facilitates productive and effective work relationship between the leadership team and employees within the business unit to increase workplace morale and reduce retention risk to business unit.- Analyses trends and metrics of employee movement and work with the center-wide HR group to formulate necessary retention programs and policies for the business unit- Facilitate and assist international employees / foreign hires in relation to in country HR matters and regulation- Implement the HR Programs by Corporate HR, while localized when necessary, according to the local /in-country needs**Manpower Planning and Recruitment**- Develop manpower planning and recruitment strategy that is in line with corporate guidelines and policies- Work with Country MD and/or department heads to manage the availability of talent to support the operations plan- Responsible for a robust recruitment strategies, infrastructure, and policies to ensure timely acquisition of the right talents.- Responsible to review and develop the overall recruitment efforts through various recruitment channels including recruitment agencies, headhunters, social media & professional networks, college recruitment programs, company website and employee referrals.- Implement recruitment's best practices and manage key metrics and standard report for performance measurement.- Portray a positive employer brand/image amongst the selected target groups.**Performance & Rewards**- Work with Corporate Performance and Rewards Lead to:- Maintain competitiveness through the market analysis of pay structure and compensation mix.- Manage the mobility & expat programs i.e., policies & packages, to ensure optimum results for the business.- Manage company-wide annual salary planning and appraisal process in a timely and objective manner.- Manage the group-wide total rewards and recognition plan with necessary localization.**Employees Engagement**- Overall engagement strategies to ensure employees are well engaged at all levels through company-wide programs.- Spearheading the in-country Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for the positive brand presence amongst the industries.
