Objectives of the Position
Lead Southeast Asia (SEA) Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) crop system strategy and portfolio roadmap and steer crop system business operations in SEA countries to achieve ambitious financial and strategic goals in APAC region.
Responsible for crop solution portfolio development and project management function to develop agricultural solutions and launch innovation to broaden offering to farmers.
Main Tasks: Develop Crop System Plan for SEA including market trend, opportunity, and gap. Identify key focus area to maximize business opportunities and steer crop system business operations. Drive Long term plan alignment for SEA and review country crop system plans in SEA; align with APAC regional strategies. Drive recommendation of Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects and business cases to ensure a competitive and sustainable mid-to-long term product portfolio in SEA. Lead portfolio optimization and allocation aligning with APAC Regional strategy to ensure profitable growth of SEA. Develop Brand Plans for key focus brands. To establish holistic key asset/brand management strategies and processes in SEA. Represent regional needs in APAC Regional/Global Crop strategy development. Focal contact point for regional functions. Initiate preparation of key New Product Launches in SEA Countries. Overseeing countries' implementation of crop strategies to meet the organizational goals. Lead synergy opportunities across countries via best practice sharing and systematic transfer of information concerning market, customer, and competition. Support SEA Marketing Head in contributing to the definition of the budget and plan objectives at country and sub-regional level. Requirements: Minimum bachelor's degree in an agricultural, or biological discipline, science or other related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant Sales or Marketing experience including new product and business development. Experience in Crop Protection industry or Agriculture value chain. Experience on F&V and F&V crop solution portfolio, including hands-on experience on crop agronomics and crop protection. Proven capacity in business development, launching new products, marketing management and financial analysis. Managed teams across countries
