What You Will Do: As the Manager for PR, Offline Marketing & Talent for Malaysia at Klook, you will spearhead comprehensive marketing initiatives aimed at boosting user acquisition and driving sales. This role requires a proactive individual with a startup mindset who can drive strategic initiatives while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution. Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement PR initiatives that enhance brand visibility and reputation in Malaysia. Leverage strong relationships with media partners to secure impactful media coverage.
Craft compelling stories and manage media interactions to bolster brand presence.
Lead and execute marketing initiatives effectively, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and objectives that outline goals, target audiences, messaging strategies, and KPIs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to strategize and execute media plans effectively. Monitor media performance metrics and optimize spending to maximize ROI.
Oversee event strategies and sponsorship plans to increase brand visibility and drive organic downloads. Evaluate post-event performance metrics to gauge effectiveness and ROI.
Plan, track, and report on progress and outcomes and conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as content, design, campaigns, partnerships and affiliates team to ensure seamless execution of initiatives. Foster collaboration and communication across departments to meet strategic objectives.
Lead influencer marketing strategies, identifying and managing relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and content creators including those in the Klook Kreator Program. Ensure influencers and creators align with brand values and drive engagement metrics.
Support Marketing Lead in building relationships with media, influencers, creators, and managing external cooperation opportunities for any offline events and sponsorships.

What you will need: At least 5 - 6 years working experience in public relations with a strong network and understanding of the Malaysia media landscape - experience in both the travel and lifestyle spaces is a plus.
Proficiency with identifying proactive opportunities to pitch media stories based on industry or consumer trends.
Proficiency in media, events planning and influencer marketing, including talent management and content creator partnerships.
Self-motivated and result-oriented, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, a good team player with attention to detail.
