Job Responsibilities
Initiate research and development efforts to create new products, evaluate current and alternative food ingredients and recipes, conduct sensory evaluation of new food products to ensure they meet customer needs and requirements. Supervise production trials of customer approved products.
Establish, maintain, and update the related Standard Procedures, Work Instructions, including the analysis method, specification (recipe, ingredient list, nutritional facts, bakery skill) and document all projects and samples status on time and in accordance to standard procedure.
Provide support towards product quality, cost, and improving process efficiency, and understand the application of our ingredients in customers' products to create new product applications.
Ensure product compliance to food act and regulation standards from the aspects of ingredients and nutrition, and be responsible for responding to customers' technical inquiries.
Involve in product and packaging development, product costing, and selection of raw/packaging materials used in the new product.
Continuous innovation, building foundation of product research and packaging technology, from environment, procurement, and legal compliances.
Any other tasks assigned by superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Degree / Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent.
At least 8 years of working experience in the FMCG industry.
Candidate must have the skill of Bakery.
Must be innovative and able to work independently.
Dynamic, resourceful with good communication skills.
