Job Description To be the subject matter expert in SMT process related and PCBA. Ability to drive critical process parameters control to meet product yield target and ability to solve defects from the processes.To define and improve assembly of PCBA into product as the finished good.Ability to provide guidance and training to the members in the organization related to SMT processes.To train members in the organization on technical electronics specific matters, which include soldering, etc.Ensure successful products and process transfer from other manufacturing facilities into local site. To adheres to the project transfer schedules meeting transfer timelines.To responsible for product transfer and PCBA development roadmap into local site.To develops, documents, maintains, and improves development and processes and procedures.To ensures timely transfer of product documentation/information in support of product/process changes.To responsible for implementing processes PFMEA using DFM input with the goal of reducing manufacturing cost and improving quality and reliability of products.To identifies and implements opportunities to reduce manufacturing complexity through Lean Six Sigma or equivalent techniques.To ensures accurate and timely communication to management and peers on critical technical and business issues.To works as a team member to resolve issues related to processes, may recommend alternative solutions and implement final recommendations. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies High adherence to company safety policies and proceduresProject management skillsAbility to use data and SPC for all relevant activities.Trained and understand ISO working procedures.Familiar with engineering documentation BOM/ECN implementation.Experience in product assembly processes involving PCBA.In-depth knowledge and understanding of the design process for systems and printed circuit boards (PCBA), subassemblies, or other related company productsIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment used for systems and printed circuit boards (PCBA) and subassemblies.In-depth knowledge of industry and quality standards and SPC methodologies.In-depth knowledge of materials and components used in the construction of systems and printed circuit boards (PCBA) and subassemblies. Requirements Degree in E&E/ Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent qualifications.Min 5 years of working experience in an EMS environment with PCBA.Effective problem solver, team player, tactful communication, and hands on ability. Candidate must possess good interpersonal skill, strong leadership to lead the peers and team. Able work independently with minimum supervision.Lean Six Sigma and Project Management Certification is a plus.
