Manufacturing Technician Iii

Purpose StatementA Manufacturing Technician III provides engineering support to sustain and improve the performance of the manufacturing process with the objective of meeting business goals in terms of Safety, Quality, Service, Cost.
Acts as an advisor to other process techs to help achieve business goals.Job ResponsibilitiesWork with Manufacturing Engineers in developing, troubleshooting, standardizing, and improving existing production methods and procedures.
Work on electronic troubleshooting, P.L.C.
programming, and electronic hardware interfacing.
Take a lead role in investigating and implementing new production methods.
Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures.
Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/products.
Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment.
Perform equipment qualifications and validations, including report writing.
Design, specify, manufacture, test, and document production equipment, changes, and improvements.
Take responsibility for creating and completing preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.
Assist in implementing technical improvements under the team's C.I.P.
program.
Communicate any concerns about work processes regarding environmental impact, health, or safety issues to their Manager.
