Job Summary: onsemi is seeking a manufacturer trainer to support manufacturing and engineering organization in training and work force development
Responsibilities • Serve as a resource and a coach
• Develop team-building exercises and workshops
• Recommend training and development systems
• Teach effective communication skills
• Develop and implement new training curriculum and onboarding modules
• Coordinate and facilitate both training modules and new hire orientation
• Assess training effectiveness following NEO or other training courses
• Local owner of Learning Management System (LMS)
• Improve training effectiveness through metric measurement and continuous improvement
• Learn and assimilate to our industry specific manufacturing environment
• Design, develop, and deliver training materials and specifications for courses
• Prepare lesson plans, work with engineering, technical support, and manufacturing to ensure course material addresses current needs
• Create or revise specification testing material
• Promote a safe working environment throughout the site
• Partner with process engineering or Subject Matter Expert (SME) to complete Fab spec recertification/refresher classes
• Design and deliver Refresher classes on topics such as EH & Safety, Cleanroom Protocols, SPC, Reticle Handling, and others; complete all homework preparations accordingly
• Business process audits, LPA, training effectiveness
High School Diploma or GED : Minimum educational requirement.
Manufacturing Experience : Several years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in specific manufacturing processes or industries may be required.
Training Experience : Previous experience in a training or instructional role, preferably in a manufacturing settin
