Job DescriptionA marine steel structure assembly foreman manages a team and resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
They are responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Leading a team:Developing, training, and leading subordinates
Ensuring safety:Maintaining a safe and environmentally healthy facility
Managing resources:Providing the necessary tools and equipment to meet customer requirements
Reading blueprints:Interpreting blueprints and structural drawings to ensure projects are built according to specifications
Performing fabrication and erection:Ensuring that fabrication and erection are carried out according to approved drawings
Verifying equipment:Ensuring that equipment, tools, and materials are in good condition
Communicating:Communicating project progress to the field superintendent
